Emma Lane
Emma is a Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor with a lifelong passion for movement and the human body. Born in New Zealand, she was active from a young age, playing sport and representing New Zealand for her age group at a national level. This early love of movement grew into a passion for dance, taking her to the UK to pursue a career as a classical dancer, before she returned to New Zealand to complete her certifications in Personal Training and Pilates, including Mat and Reformer. Having grown up around her parents' physiotherapy clinic, she developed a natural interest in caring for the body, and her approach to training reflects this — she trains clients not for aesthetics, but for longevity.
Emma moved to Sydney five years ago and has since been working as a Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor. Her biggest passion is helping people move for life, whatever that means to them. She has completed further training in Pre and Post Natal Pilates and has a real interest in training women through and beyond pregnancy, combining Reformer and mat-based Pilates with strength training to target both the smaller stabilising muscles and the larger muscle groups for long-term bone health and overall function.
Mobility is included in every session Emma teaches, as she believes it is a fundamental — and often overlooked — part of staying strong and moving well for life, on the trails, in the surf, or wherever movement takes you.
