- In a standing position, have the band around both ankles.
- Slowly bend the hip of the working leg, trying to maintain a controlled knee angle through the hip bending.

- Slowly control back to the starting position, again focusing on the hip and knee joint control.

This should be felt in the quadriceps (front of the thigh) and hip flexors.
