33. Functional Upper Limb Retraining exs
- Start laid down on the bench, with the ‘working’ arm towards the ceiling.
- Holding a weight, or resistance band which is secured to the floor.
- Take your arm through a full range of movement, drawing an arc from the waist to above your head – if able.
- Try not let the weight/resistance pull the arm down, aim to keep it at shoulder level as a minimum.
- Perform ……….
This should be felt in the muscles on the shoulder blade/shoulder/arm.
