Kneeling Hip Adduction
62. Pilates Reformer Kneeling
- Kneel on the reformer with leg up against shoulder pad and other foot outstretched on the rails (use a sticky pad even with sticky socks)
- Align your kneeling knee beneath your hip and keep your hips facing forwards; engage your core
- Bend the outstretched leg so you pull yourself and the carriage toward that foot, without losing the upright position of the kneeling leg
- Straighten the rail leg to return to start and repeat
- Variation to add kneeling leg pulses in and out
This can also be done standing within the frame with no springs and bent leg on carriage, or bent knee resting on carriage
