33. Functional Upper Limb Retraining exs
- Stand side on to the band which is attached to door.
- Hold onto the band with the arm furthest from the door and take arm out at 90 degrees in front of the body with the elbow bent 90 degrees and forearm horizontal.
- Now rotate the arm outwards, pivoting through the shoulder and maintaining the upper arm in front and elbow at 90 degrees, so that the forearm moves vertically.
- Then slowly lower back to start position.
- Keep shoulder blade back and down.
- Repeat.
