32. Functional Scap Retraining
- Engage the core
- Without allowing the rib cage to lift, gently set the shoulders into position by tightening low portion of the trapezius muscle
- The top of the shoulder should lift up and back
- Correct the sitting posture and gently set the shoulder blade position
- Maintain the correct posture and reach one arm forward to chest level. Do not tense the upper shoulder muscles or lose the sitting alignment. Lower with control and repeat x10
