From our clinic in Manly, our physiotherapists provide treatment to help with pain relief and injury rehabilitation
At In Balance Physio and Pilates in Manly, we provide physiotherapy treatment and advice to those experiencing pain or injury from joints, soft tissue or nerves in the body. Physiotherapy uses a wide range of hands-on treatment techniques and exercises to restore normal muscle, nerve and joint mechanics in order to maximise optimal return to function.
In Balance’s physios are trained to treat any joint in the body. Physiotherapy has been proven to be effective in the treatment of a wide range of injuries from the common back, neck and knee pain through to less common problems such as jaw pain, headache and rib pain. Physiotherapists also treat a variety of sports injuries and play an important role in rehabilitation after surgery. So that you don’t have to keep coming back, we place a strong focus on identification and correction of the underlying cause of your injury rather than just treating the symptoms.
Why Choose In Balance Physio in Manly?
At In Balance we don’t believe in rushing people through or in treating multiple people at once. Your initial physiotherapy assessment will be a full hour, allowing us to take a detailed history, perform a thorough physical assessment and still have time to spend on hands on treatment to get your pain under control. This allows us to really get to the bottom of your issues and set you up with a plan to get you back In Balance.
Hands on treatment
All of our physios believe strongly in a hands on manual therapy and exercise rehab approach. We don’t just use hot packs and machines and your treatment will almost always involve a combination of hands on treatment techniques to get you moving better and to decrease pain, as well as exercises to correct why your pain was there in the first place. We want to fix why your pain was there, not just to treat your symptoms.
Our physiotherapy staff are highly trained and experienced with a wealth of knowledge on treating a wide range of conditions and a strong belief in regular ongoing training courses to keep abreast with the latest research in injury management.
Private treatment rooms
No curtained cubicles and overhearing your neighbours here, we provide bright, private well equipped treatment rooms and the 100% undivided attention of our therapists.
We are bringing it into the 21st century through the use of a range of equipment to assist in your physiotherapy treatment, such as Real Time Ultrasound, Video Gait Analysis and EMG.
